Girls Night Out!

All of the girls on the street when out for our monthly girls night out last night, it was also Loras birthday , which worked out perfect! Happy birthday Lora! We went to Tsunami 1st, then to Nonah's, then to Rust to have some drinks. Can I just say Heather was just pure entertainment for the evening! Wine and Heather mix for some great fun! We all had such a fun time, of course we cut loose and became EXTREMELY silly!!!!!! But had fun as always, next outing will be Greek night! We cant wait! :)))

Trip to St.Marys, Georgia

The kids and I traveled to St.Marys, to see Taylors best friend, Savannah. Randy,Savannah's dad, showed us all the sites down there. It really is a beautiful place! The weather was perfect and we also went to Fernandina Beach in Florida , while we were there :) I was very proud of myself, because this is the very FIRST time I have EVER in my life traveled more than 1 1/2 hrs on my own!!! Without another adult! I am the worlds worst person to travel in the car, but i did so well, so kudos to me :) And to think we are going to be traveling down to Florida in 2 weeks, Lord help my family. ha ha

Taylor has absolutely fallen in love with Harrison, Joey and Heathers little boy, He is such a sweet and happy baby. Taylor has been wanting to spend some time playing with him , so this afternoon we snuck him away for a little while. We all had a great time with him, he really is such a special little boy, you just cant help but smile when you see him and he just fills the room with fun. Taylor got a chance to feed him, which was her 1st time ever feeding a baby, so she was too excited. Harrison was so good eating. He NEVER grabbed the spoon. So well mannered :)
Taylor helped get his food ready and his juice but when it came time to change a dirty diaper, boy was she out of there. But she is ready for another visit :)

Roger and Debras 4th of July Party

Once again, we went to Roger and Debras 4th of July party this year. Deb is just so festive with everything! She had a cute little Uncle Sam pin for the women to wear, along with patriotic bracelets and necklaces for the little girls! Also she had goody boxes, that were red , white and blue, for each child, full of goodies! Thanks Deb! Austin wasn't with us this year, he went with a friend to another party. It was too cute to watch all the little ones watch the fireworks as well. Great food and people as always at Rog and Debs!
Reggie and I have become ADDICTED to a new game that Debras uncle brought over called "Redneck Golf"! I LOVED IT and wasn't too bad at it! It is three bars of PVC pipe and 3 sets of 2 golf balls with holes drilled in them attached by a 12 inch piece of rope. You put the Pvc pipe "hurdles" about 30 foot away from each other, there are 2 hurdles, and you throw one golf ball set at the hurdle , hoping to wrap it around on of the bars! I wont list all the rules, but man , is it fun! Hope everyone had a great and safe 4th of July this year!

Annual Smith 4th of July Party!

So once again, we hosted our 4th of July party! A great time, as always, was had by all! Even during an appearance of a really bad storm but it passed and we partied on....
It was the 1st year for the Elliotts and Fearys to have new addition to their families and next year , The Carters ,will be adding one more to our street family! We cant wait!!!!!
We had great food, and FANTASTIC fireworks at the end of the evening! i wish i could have taken better pictures of all the fireworks but there was so much smoke around i couldn't get it!
